Prison building and simulation game Prison Architect is currently free on Steam for a short time. You won’t be able to keep the game forever unfortunately, but it does give you until Monday February 1st to decide on if you want to buy the game. Considering that it is on sale for 75% off, bringing it to around 8 to 10 dollars (depending on where you live) from its normal price of around 35 dollars, this is a perfect opportunity to snatch a fantastic game up.
The reason for the free trial and the heavy discount is the new Going Green DLC just released for the game. This DLC features new types of prison labor (farm themed of course), extended outdoor facilities, eco-friendly power sources, new types of contraband, and even a friendship system for inmates.
